1.1 The Chair welcomed Members. Apologies were
received from Hefin David, Julie Morgan and Darren Millar. There
were no substitutes.
2.1 The Committee heard evidence from the
Royal College of Psychiatrists.
3.1 The Committee heard evidence from the British Psychological Society and the Applied Psychologists in Health National Specialist Advisory Group.
3.2 Dr Liz Gregory agreed to provide the
diagram and presentation to which she referred during the
session.
4.1 The Committee heard evidence from Time to Change Wales, Barnardo’s and Action for Children.
4.1 Action for Children agreed to provide
Committee with their research which states the average waiting time
for access to assessment is 26 weeks.
5.1 The papers were noted.
7.1 The Committee considered the evidence they head heard in the evidence sessions.
